The Yllera family makes and sells wine in skins, touring the towns of the province of Valladolid by horse cart.

Los Curros was born

SAT Los Curros is established by the brothers Pepe and Jesús Yllera. They make the first modern Verdejos from Rueda years before the Denomination of Origin was established.

Yllera, our emblematic red wine

The incorporation of the Rioja winemaker Ramón Martínez brought about a small oenological revolution and was the first great commercial success of the winery.

The beginning in Ribera del Duero

We bought a winery in Boada de Roa and the first wines with Bracamonte brand began to be produced in Ribera del Duero.

Big Fire in the winery

A large fire in Rueda winery with serious losses that became a new opportunity: reconstruction and the begining of the El Hilo de Ariadna wine tourism project.

2000

Business update

Continued growth leads to the creation of a new sales and marketing department, a new management model is proposed and the development of the winery is consolidated.

Name change

The Yllera red wine, with the family surname, is so popular that ends up being part of the commercial name.

Yllera 5.5

As a result of a new innovation in Yllera, the first frizzante was born on the Spanish market. Yllera 5.5 is the new enological revolution.

2014

Generational relief

The winery is now run by the next generation of the family with Marcos and Carlos Yllera together with the winemaker Montxo Martínez. In these years El Hilo de Ariadna was also expanded with underground dining rooms.

VivaltuS

A new project sees the light in Ribera del Duero, with VivaltuS being the family's bet on premium wines that are made in a new winery in Curiel de Duero.
